Actor Biography

Missick garnered attention for his role as Hugh Grant's confidant in the romantic comedy Two Weeks Notice. Since then he has been a rising star in the world of entertainment. He recently played Samuel L. Jackson's son in the crime drama Freedomland, which co-starred Julianne Moore, and acted alongside Sir Ben Kingsley, Morgan Freeman and Josh Hartnett in the thriller Lucky Number Slevin. He will next be seen in a leading part opposite Zoe Saldana in the upcoming independent comedy, Premium, and with Jon Heder and Diane Keaton in Mama's Boy for Warner Independent.

Previous film credits include The Manchurian Candidate, 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, Undermind and Shaft.

Missick's notable television appearances occurred on the series Law & Order: SVU, CSI: NY, Conviction, NYPD Blue, Philly and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The versatile actor's repertoire includes theatre as well. In 2005 he starred Off-Broadway in the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, A Soldier's Play, with Anthony Mackie and Taye Diggs, at the Second Stage Theater.
