Nominations for the 70th Emmy® Awards were announced today by the Television Academy and the cast and crew of black-ish received 5 nominations, including a nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series. Television Academy Chairman and CEO Hayma Washington along with Samira Wiley and Ryan Eggold announced the nominations this morning, which also included an Outstanding Lead Actor nod for Anthony Anderson as Andre "Dre" Johnson, an Outstanding Lead Actress nomination for Tracee Ellis Ross as Dre's wife, Rainbow, and Wanda Sykes snagged a nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her turn as Dre's boss Daphne Lido. The show was also recognized with a nomination for Outstanding Contemporary Costumes. The 2018 Emmy Awards will telecast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Monday, September 17, (8:00 - 11:00 PM ET/5:00 - 8:00 PM PT) on NBC. Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost and Michael Che will serve as co-hosts.
